There will be lights, music, people (a lot), there will be magic and when so many things are happening at the same time the biggest challenge is to hold out your lens and get the right shot. Yes we are talking about Concert Photography, one underrated and one of the most challenging assignments you can ever expect as a photographer. It isn’t so easy as it looks, there are many challenges when you are right mixed up in the crowd and everyone is jumping around to get a glimpse of the band. The biggest problem is light. Most concerts are dimly lit and the coloured lights make life exceedingly difficult for a photographer. You need to do more than focussing on the shutter speed, and getting ready with your light-sensitive equipment to counter the dim lights. or sometimes even bright focus lights can ruin the shots or to stand still and anticipate when the performer is going to stop, to get that perfect shot. So just take out your set and try out the little tips I mentioned about Concert Photography, until then you can check out our post for some Concert Photography Inspiration.
