Gorgeous Red Color Inspired Photography
The word Red comes from the Old English rēad. Further back, the word can be traced to the Proto-Germanic rauthaz and the Proto-Indo European root reudh-. It also has some influence of Indian Sanskrit, the word rudhira means red or blood. Red is formed by any of a number of similar colors evoked by light consisting predominantly of the longest wavelengths of light discernible by the human eye. Red is used as one of the additive primary colors of light. So it’s obvious why we are attracted towards red, take for example Valentine’s Day. Here is a showcase of some gorgeous examples of usage of Red for Photography Inspiration. Don’t forget to See our Colors Photography Feature for more colors Inspiration.
