Tut- Remove the Default Blogger Navbar

When you choose a blogspot template it usually comes with a top Navbar almost like an admin bar. Some people find it really helpful and easier to manage their account. But the rest dont like that. I persoanlly don’t like that tag on the top so let me tell you how to get rid off the navbar.

PS: Remove the Navbar isn’t against the Blogspot/Blogger TOS so nothingto fear about.

Dashboard > Layout > Edit HTML and check the “Expand Widget Templates” option.

Important Step: Now as a precautionary measure please download your template so that you have an emergency backup if in case you create any errors icon smile Tut  Remove the Default Blogger Navbar

First locate this code in your blogger template.

And just below <b:skin><![CDATA[ paste the following code-

#navbar-iframe {
height:0px;
visibility:hidden;
display:none }

    Well it was really easy to make it 0px.but remember that you are not allowed to remove that code.

    @ricky it is allowed to remove it. Removing NAVBAR is not a violation to hte Terms of Use and it is no where mentioned in it. Moreover, Rick Klau, Product Manager at blogger has also mentioned this.

    @cheth I've come up with a blogger widget for this using which it is much easier to implement this trick as people need not edit the HTML every time they change the template.hide blogger navbar widget

  6. Guess what, i decided to try putting above the blogger template style heading where you see the dashes,right above.I guess it also depends what template you are using
